5.0 out of 5 stars This nerd was heard, April 9, 2009
By K. Jones (Georgia, United States) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I'm one of those nerds whose presentations are filled with content but not interesting. I had a dry run of my presentation last week with my peers. "Dry" was definitely the word. After the dry run, I utilized this book to help this nerd be more engaging - it worked! It definitely had information in it that I was able to apply immediately to my in-process presentation. Thanks to this book - it went great!

I highly recommend this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book for making speeches interesting, March 19, 2009
By Joey Asher (Atlanta, Georgia, USA) - See all my reviews
This is great book for learning how to make dull subjects interesting. The book has 52 short chapters that are easy to read and have lots of great ideas on how to spice up any subject.

For example, how can you give an interesting presentation on how to work with your technical support department? She recommends creating a game of "Technical Support Jeopardy" and providing cash and prizes for the right answers. Fun idea! There are dozens of ideas like this throughout the book.
