5.0 out of 5 stars This is a FUN book., May 18, 1999

There are lots of serious books available to read during pregnancy, but this one is for fun. . .as long as you don't take the predictions too seriously. It makes a great shower gift too. It is inexpensive and leads to wonderful conversations. My personal favorite is the Chinese Conception chart in the back that claims to predict the sex of your unborn child with 90% accuracy!!! I found the results closer to 60-70% accurate, with my personal stats at 50%. Like I said, it is a FUN book.

Disappointed!!

It was cute, but for fun purposes only. It was not really worth the price. If you can pick one up at a yard sale or used book store it is maybe 5 minutes of reading.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: How to Make a Boy or Girl Baby (Paperback)
I have been interested in this particular issue for quite a while now and I have read a good amount of books covering this subject, including Das Kapital, Anna Karenina, War & Peace and The Chronicles of Narnia, and I can honestly say that this book is a far more sophisticated, interesting and beneficial read. Some Orthodox Economists might claim that the principle of Supply and Demand is not covered thoroughly enough in this book, but to that I say "tish and pish".
I would name vivid images as the biggest strength of the book. Mentioned pictures are extremely easy to figure out and can be utilized as an instruction.
Anyone interested in "It" should definitely give this book a try.
