This book changed my whole perception of the universe! I've noticed some ESP experiences before I read it, and this book confirmed I wasn't outta my mind and those weren't conincidences! Harold Sherman is of the best psychic in the US in the 60s & 70s, living in Arkansas with his family. He did a pioneering long distance ESp experiment with artic explorer Hubert Wilkins when Wilkins was in the artic. 80% of Sherman's records about WIlkin's activities & even thoughts while in the artic was correct! He's the man who can make coincidences happen and you can learn how. He can pick up your thoughts the first time he meets you. A deeply spiritual & warm man, his ESP books are filled with his life experiences with ESP.

I bought this book at a book sale at age 10 or so because I wanted to learn to read people's minds. What I got was a challenging, mind-expanding book written in plain language.

As an adult I once mentioned to my Dad that I had once had this book and how much ass it kicked. A few days later, by pure chance, he came across a copy and bought it for me. Coincidence - OR WAS IT?????

Harold Sherman has an interesting perspective on the nature of mind and the universe. This book is an easy read, and it's worth reading just for the thoughts it might plant in your head.

I read this book some 12 years ago and it changed my prospective of the world. Even if you are sceptic to paranormal phenomena, you will find this book credible and very useful. The writer is talking out of his personal experience and impresses with his radiating authenticity. What Harold Sherman has achieved throughout his fulfilling life is the impossible harmony between the matter and the spirit. He tried to tell us that it is after all possible to be good.. yet successful.

One of the most credible contemporary accounts, of and on the subject of Extra Sensory Perception.
I found this book by using one of the techniques Sherman teaches in it. For someone who has experienced one or more of the events we attribute to ESP, it is a great first training / teaching tool. He supports his claims and will fascinate the reader, recounting personal experiences over his life time.
The book takes one through a step by step process of learning to understand and utilize many facets of this little understood "extra sensory capacity" of the human mind.
Over all a great book for the uninitiated and interesting reading for those well familiar with the subject.

I am quite impressed with Harold Sherman's approach and candor. He actually teaches one how to improve & control their ESP abilities. He is frank and honest about his failures as well as successes. He doesn't pretend to know how it works, but has theories that he puts forth for consideration. I would definitely recommend this book to those interested in working with ESP. Don't think, however, that you'll absorb all of it in the first reading. Not if you are a truly serious student.

This is a classic "how to" book on ESP. It also imparts the interesting life of author Harold Sherman. Very interesting and informative. The used book was in very good shape.

First written in 1949 Harold Sherman gives us a glimpse of life eternal and a chance to prepare for the inevitable.

Whether we choose to believe in life after death, the time will come for each one of us to enter it's gate. Better to have a sense of our own being then to push aside the fears of dealing with this transformation in the future.

Why not go through the steps NOW and get on with our lives?

This book is great! This book does not teach one to do parlor tricks or anything so Hollywood. This book is a great guide for understanding intuition and the importance of positive thoughts, being authentic in what you put out. Wonderful book. Glad I found it!

This book exceeded my expectations. I recently lost a husband and another close relative. I already believed in life after death because I have had ADC's since then but this book answers a lot of questions and explains it all in a very easy to understand way. His books will comfort you. This is my 3rd book by Harold Sherman I have read and I like his style and his subject matter and his compassion and integrity so much I have made a list of all the meta-physical books he has written and I will be ordering all of them. He writes down to earth and you can tell that this subject of the afterlife and also the subconscious mind is close to his heart. He ranks No. 1 on the list of authors on the subject for me, followed closely by Dr. Joseph Murphy. I can only highly recommend his books, You live after Death and also Your Key to Happiness.
