4.0 out of 5 stars Cool Pop-up
This is a great pop-up book with lots of counting activities your child can do. It is very colorful and very clever. A great gift for any pre-schooler.

3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty .. short.
This is a really fun book, but I was disappointed that it is only 5 pages/scenes. The question "How Many" is linked to how many stripes of each colour are used on each page, which no adult or child is ever going to want to answer because there are QUITE a few of each colour and they are very long lines. Plus the questions and colours are the same on every page.

3.0 out of 5 stars Repetitive, March 9, 2008

While impressive in terms of sheer size, the popups are not terribly inventive, and after the first one, the only difference is in the shapes and colors. The mechanisms are virtually identical. The potential in popup as an art form is in its ability to bring an element of the unexpected, by combining conventional flat artwork with ingenious three-dimensional mechanisms. A good example is Nick Bantock's "Solomon Grundy," a smaller, simpler, and yet far more entertaining and surprising work.

A fun popup book! However, as pages were turned, it tore the following pages of the popups. Not a very durable book; but was an interesting aray of popups.

The book is fantastic.
One of the drawstrings is a bit lax so that the image pops up about 95%.
Otherwise, as I said, I love the book.

This book is amazing and beautiful, suitable for children, but even more appreciated by adults. My friend who collects pop-ups was very impressed with this gift.

This is a great mini-pop-up in true Sabuda style. It's size makes it easy to handle and show children.
