I was pleased with this books advice for several reasons. It is one of the first books to suggest to the reader, primarily an audience of women, to put the responsibility back on the man's shoulders. She suggests places the oddest places to go, but there are always possibilities. I think that her best suggestion is to always be open-minded which is a rare and good trait to have when embarking on life and eventually into a relationship. She also suggests that single-hood is something that we all choose.

If you are single and looking for new socializing ideas....this is the book for you. With over 300 listings of activities....ranging from sports to travel to volunteer work to off-the-beaten track ideas...there is something for everyone in the tri-state area. Written with a humorous tone....I hope singles will find the book positive and chock full of fun stuff to do while you look for Mr. or Ms. Right. It's a virtual Zagat's of the dating scene.
