Editorial Reviews

Review

Goldberg's book is easy to read and clearly illustrated, with tips and reminders about self-exams and test men should undergo annually...Goldberg's book also has plain-speaking, helpful advice on erections for the estimated 36 million American men with the problem of premature ejaculations. -- Detroit Free Press, December 28, 1993

How Men Can Live As Long As Women is an informational manual that we have wanted for a long time. This gives us a solid foundation toward putting us in control of our own physical destiny -- Roger Staubach, Dallas Businessman and Hall of Fame Quarterback

In his book, Goldberg clearly explains how men can take control of their lives while tacking on years of quality living. The book answers questions men are afraid to ask but want to know...It is a user-friendly manual that tells you what physical things need to be checked regularly by yourself and your doctor. Everything about male sex is discussed openly and concisely. -- Times Recorder, February 6, 1996

Ken Goldberg is a pioneer is saving men from their own myths. Men: If you won't go to your doctor to get healthy, go to this wonderful, user-friendly book. Wives: Do you want your partner to forestall physical decline by ten or twenty years? Get him this man-talk book. It's a groundbreaker. -- Gail Sheehy, Author of Passages and The Silent Passage

Sit down with a good book on men's health. One of the best is How Men Can Live as Long as Women. As one would expect from a urologist, he also answers common questions about health and your sex life. -- Nutrition Action Health Letter, June 1995

This book is a wake-up call to aging baby boomers. It's written in an easy vernacular, rather like a conversation you might have with your physician-friend who is sincerely interested in your longevity. -- Fort Worth Star Telegram, January 23, 1994

From the Author

Having treated thousands of men with various male problems over the years, I became frustrated by the needless deaths and negative impact on a man's life and that on his family. Furthermore, I came to realize that men didn't have to suffer and die from the many afflictions that they encounter. Many of my patients through pro-active involvement in their health have been able to conquer, minimize, or prevent various male problems that could have negatively impacted their lives.

I have often asked the question, "How many men do you know take as good of care of their bodies as they do their cars?" and found few that have. Yet, I sincerely believe and have seen that men can actually take as good of care of their bodies as they do their most prized possession. Through education, awareness, and humor, my book provides vital information that can add quality years to a man's life.
