This is one of those shows that will become a classic! It follows the lives of 5 New Yorkers in their late 20s and early 30s as they navigate through the trials and tribulations of relationships and work. Told from the prospective of "Ted" (Josh Radnor/Bob Sagget) looking back on his life and telling his 2 kids the story of how he met their mother. His theory, is every detail of his past played a small part in the outcome and thus, the would be simple story becomes a DETAILED account of his and his friend's lives. Season 5 is currently airing, and the closest we've come to actually meeting the mother is a view of her ankle. The best part of the show, in my opinion, is Neil Patrick Harris and his incredibley convincing portrayel of the womanizing Barney Stinson. He is without question the scene stealer in this cast! BEST PURCHASE I'VE MADE IN A LONG TIME!!! Also starring: Jason Segel, Allison Hannigan, Cobie Smulders

The cast is amazing - especially Neil Patrick Harris and Jason Segal. With the price so low, it's well worth it.

I love this show! The humor and the way it is filmed is genius. In a lot of ways you can compare it to Friends. It is so good! You get to know and love all of the characters on the show.

These DVDs were just shrinkwrapped together. Two of the seasons were full-screen and the other two were wide-screen. One of the cases was broken and the DVD's were loose inside. I bought this as a gift, and I guess I was hoping it would be a little nicer.

A great series that is even better if you watch it from the very beginning

This is probably the first sit-com so successfully written for young, 20-something, post-college adults in the professional world or graduate school. A lot of people compare this show to Friends, but as a member of the aforementioned demographic group, I find it far more entertaining than Friends. My friends unanimously love this show, as do I!

Even thou this wasn't a box set it was still a great gift and buy. The whole complete season 1-4 all packaged and new into a box and ready to enjoy.

I love 'How I Met Your Mother.' This was very well priced, shipped promptly and in good condition. The only complaint I would have is that the little boxes for each season are different sized, and I thought it would be a matching set. Other than that, everything about them has been wonderful.

My wife and I just recently discovered the tv series How I Met Your Mother. After watching a few episodes on regular tv, I ordered seasons 1-4. We absolutely love it. We are both busy, and would say that we would watch only one episode a day, but it always turned into watching five or six. I highly recommend this product to anyone. It is absolutely hilarious.

I haven't opened seasons 1-3 yet, but I did open season four and watch it. It works great, but the case was cracked and broken and the disk does not stay in place anymore so I am assuming it will get scratched and may not work in the future. Hopefully not, but that is what normally happens. Other than the broken case the disk works great and it arrived in a very timely manor. So it was still a good purchase, but would rather have a new season four because of the broken case, ecspecially since it was supposed to be brand new. If it was used it would not be that big of deal, but if I buy something brand new I expect it not to have any problems.
