About the Author

Kay Quinn, Founder of Mutual Freedom.org, is often referred to as having one of biggest hearts in America. Her spirit of giving has created an active effort promoting human welfare for all. Committed to assisting and aiding in the sincere needs of human suffering, she has vowed to designate her organization's income, supported by philanthropic funds, towards her Just Cause Unity Project which is affectionately known as J-Cup and the Mutual Freedom organization. The daughter of the late Rev. Odell Christian, Kay was taught very early in life how to exercise her faith and trust in God. She learned the true meaning of a loving parent/child relationship, and how it differs very little from our Heavenly Fathers loving relationship towards us. As a result, she accepted the call to spread that love to everyone by taking a stand against the myths and dispelling the deception that is being taught from corrupt pulpits, derived from the bowels of the spirit of greed. Through her philosophical and religious writings, her mission is to awaken and set captives free from their bondage of traditional worship which, as she often explains, are non-effective.

The desire for money can corrupt even the purest of intentions. "How Much Does God Cost?" looks into the mega-churches and the money-grubbing corruption that is behind them, and how the mega-churches leech off their patrons instead of working with them, Kay Quinn urges readers to find the truth behind their churches before continuing to go to them. "How Much Does God Cost?" is a cautionary guide to the corruption of some churches, recommended.

Finally finished "How Much Does God Cost?" While I don't agree with everything the author writes in this book, she does present her argument eloquently, intelligently and with very valid points. I recommend one read for themselves. While this may come across as a book written after a scornful occurrence, one of intelligence can read between the lines and give pause to the questions presented. This is definitely a read for book clubs, as it will provide material for a great discussion.
