This short how-to guide provides some common sense approaches to taking control of your inbox - nothing in here is earth-shattering or makes you have an “a-ha” moment, but what I did appreciate was some of the memory joggers of what we have heard before. If you’re like me, both my work and personal email inbox are overflowing. I’ve already started to apply some of the tips in this guide and, in the span of about fifteen minutes, I’ve decreased the number of messages in my inbox by 20%.

I picked up this guide during a free Kindle book promotion vs. its regular price of 99 cents. While this book was written by a provider of email productivity tools (that charge a fee if you use some of the recommendations), and there are a couple of references to their product, they were not obnoxious about it and also provided links to tools other than their product. Even if the guide reverts back to its normal 99 cent price, the common sense tips – if utilized by you – should gain you a heck of a lot more than 99 cents worth of productivity.

If you have nightmares about emails, this book is for you...

For years I've struggled with email. I currently have three email addresses. Two for business and one personal account. Needless to say, it's an absolute mess to deal with, but email is a necessary evil in the world we live in today.

Then I found this book. Some of the hacks are really great. One of my favorites: turn off email notifications. Something so simple that I'd never thought of before. Now I designate times throughout the day that I check my email instead of letting it command my attention whenever it wants.

Even if you only find a few of the hacks useful, your money will be well-spent.

Super useful and well written. I don't know if there are many "Email Experts" but Dmitri is definitely one of them. Fast read. If you get a lot of emails this will make your life easier.
