Like all Elisabeth Elliot books, this book is based on strong Biblical values and is encouraging and meaningful. She gives a view on the blessings of lonliness, a view most of us don't usually take on the matter. Definitely a good read (albeit quite short) and something good for group discussion.

Alert: This is a very tiny booklet, about 7 x 3.875 inches with a font that I would guess to be size 11. The actual text starts on page 3 and ends on page 23. So if you are expecting a work as large as _Quest for Love_ , _Passion and Purity_, or _Let Me Be a Woman_, well, this won't live up to expectations.

This is not to say the book isn't worth reading or buying. I have yet to read it myself. I just want you to realize what you are getting into--especially if you are about to pay $45.00+ for this thinking it's a book-length treatment.

Page 20 ends the main writing begun on page 3. 21 has a summary of the work, as well as a section continuing through page 22 with a section of statements and questions called "For Reflection and Action." Page 23 contains 3 verses for the Psalms for meditation beneath the command, "Read one of the following passages several times a day and think about what it means for your life."
