THe how to is really missing and the book is really for beginners. Good graphics but lacking in technical details.

Its not really a practical how to book like I had hoped. His examples rarely look like Vermeer quality. How to paint like old masters was better, but still needed detail.

This book is a great addition to the library of any creative "artist" - a visual feast & "treasure hunt" of many details. It's not really what I expected - but it's even better - a great, unique item!
