Valuable technical detail required for art photography, March 5, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: How to Photograph Works of Art (Paperback)
As a photographer of works of art the indepth technical detail in this book is a necessity for me. Of 4 books I own on this topic, this is the most comprehensive. It has become my 'bible'. I am recommending it to our local Art Guild members who are serious about the need for accurate color slides of their works.

These things are not just catalogued, but evaluated by the author based on his years of experience.

A good guide for the pros, not DIY artists, June 15, 2004
This review is from: How to Photograph Works of Art (Paperback)
Extremely thorough, professional guide for the professional photographer. This book is not geared for the artist who desires to do their own photodocumentation or gallery submission photography. There is no doubt that this author is an authority in his field.
