How to Plan Your African-American Family Reunion, September 4, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: How to Plan Your African Ameri (Paperback)
This was a great resource. It gave me plenty of ideas and insight into planning a large reunion. Information included in the book was a wide range from planning to anticipating emergencies. Members who attended the family reunion said it was the best we had ever had out of all 15 reunions. I would recommend this book for anyone planning a family reunion.

Good resource, June 27, 2004
This review is from: How to Plan Your African Ameri (Paperback)
I'm planning a family reunion and have poured over several books on the topic. Krystal Williams did a very good job with this one. It's highly superior to the book by Donna Beasley because while it's full of warmth, charm and inspiration it also has more details on the nitty gritty of the business side of reunion planning. If you can afford to buy more than one reunion book buy this one or at least check it out from the library. It's an excellent starting point.

Helpful, but strayed off subject at times, September 1, 2006
This review is from: How to Plan Your African Ameri (Paperback)
This book is OK for getting started, however, it strayed away from the meat and potatoes of the subject just a bit. It gave impractical suggestions that I don't think very many African Americans would follow. It was a good start and I was able to get a few good ideas, but I will by no means use it as one-in-all guide.
