As a humorous public speaker, I bought this book to "catch the acts" of four seasoned professionals.(Of course, I wasn't looking to steal any of their material!) The book is not stingy with their jokes - there are more than 2000 of them, neatly organized into various categories. I found most of the gags - generally one-liners - fairly tame or even lame, but I am willing to believe that they drew laughs from indulgent audiences if the delivery was sharp and well-timed. Nevertheless, there are humor books and joke books on the market that are a lot funnier.
