Someone gave me one of Habif's videos as a gift when I was learning to play harmonica. It was one of the Blues videos from his huge video collection. That was by far the best video I have seen on the harmonica and I really did basically start playing instantly. I was bending notes and jamming with friends within a few weeks. That leads me to this cassette. It is more of the same....great beginner's info, simple songs...altogether a very great way to start playing harmonica. Habif is very down to earth sounding, and on the videos seems like a great player and a nice person also. I would get anything by him if I were someone just learning to play the harmonica as I have tried out several series. Most "learn to play" series involves an annoying teacher, bad music, bad book..etc. Habif's stuff you can usually get for real cheap, and it will help.
