I am about half way through this book and so far I'm finding it very informative. I've never written a book before so obviously am very green to the publishing world. This book so far has given me a great deal of insight into the publishing world and has prevented me from just plundering forward with the process. I am realizing I have a lot to learn before submitting my manuscript.

I had this checked out from the library and just kept renewing it. I finally decided I just needed to own it. It took me about an hour to write and edit my book... the publishing project is going much slower. But I feel like I have all the information and references I need for the job in this book.

I found this book to provide great overview of the industry landscape. It also provides a framework by which one can begin to position and strategize their approach to the market.

I'm a beginner and this book helped a lot. It's also reader friendly. It takes you through the steps to increase your likelyhood of getting published.

I found it to be very informative and a great source for reference.
