Not As It Would Seem to Be, September 3, 2004
This review is from: How To Get Published Free and Make Money (Paperback)
About 50 percent of this short 80 page book has nothing to do with writing at all but consists of two opinion pieces written by the author on economics and politics. Some of the matter in the opinion pieces sounds racist.
The scant information on publishing that is covered in the book is for the most part available for free at Lulu the print on demand company where this book was published.
Additionally the book is full of typos and grammatical errors.

The WORST Book I have ever read., August 13, 2005
This review is from: How To Get Published Free and Make Money (Paperback)
I purchased this book in order to learn some vital information about getting a book published with-out contracting with an agent or publisher.
I do not know the age of the author but it was written in prose that appears to come from a ten year old, or someone whose primary language is not English or just a downright terrible writer. The grammer errors, run-on sentances, sentences with no verb present, misuse of colloquialisms all abound. I can not think of a worse way to have spent my hard earned money as this book is unreadable.
I will say that some of the good content is delicately hidden behind massive writing distractions. Reading this book to uncover the few areas of content worth discovering is just impossible.
This author seems to indicate he has authored several other books, so I just did an Amazon search to find the following rankings:
1,535,524
1,201,544
950,512
This author wrote one book "Noah's Ark 2012: Journal (Paperback)" That has TWO pages of prose followed by a hundred or more BLANK pages. He wants the readers to WRITE his next book for him. WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!!!!

Here's why I think this IS a 5-star book, April 12, 2006
This review is from: How To Get Published Free and Make Money (Paperback)
Hi,
My name is Marlon Sanders, author of The Amazing Formula
that Sells Products Like Crazy.
I rank this short, brief book 5 stars for the following
reasons:
1. A good friend of mine is making $3,000 a month
selling books on Amazon using this EXACT method.
2. The book delivers on the promise
He shows you how to get published for free using Lulu
or Lightning Press then gives you several ways to
promote the books on Amazon.
3. There is no fluff.
4. I personally don't care about typos. I have
nothing against thoses who do. It's just from
my perspective, what does THAT have to do with
knowing HOW to sell books on Amazon?
Nothing. That's what. Absolutely nothing. What
it does mean is the book wasn't proof read. I want
to sell books on Amazon. If I want something proof
read, personally, I 'll buy a slick book at the
book store.
5. I had never read several of the promotional
ideas in the book anywhere. the information is
unique and simple to follow.
6. Yeah, the book has no graphics on the cover
and isn't slick like a bookstore book. But for
me, I'm buying HOW TO information. Not a slick
book.
7. If you want to be entertained or read something
bookstore slick, don't buy it. If you wanna learn
how to sell your books on Amazon, go for it.
And that's how I see it in San Antonio, Freakin'
Texas.
I'm giving this book right away to one of my
team and tellin' them to do it for me.
Marlon Sanders
