How To Raise Rabbits
This is a very good book for someone starting out *owning* rabbits. There was not, in my opinion, enough covered in detail on raising them. But, the entire book is written relitativly neutral (instead of "this is the ONLY way I'd do it" style) and it is packed with a lot of great information. The pictures are fantastic, and show various breeds. There is also a section...

Basic pet care.
This book seemed like it was written for a kid raising a rabbit as a pet, and just gives you the bare minimum of what you need to know about raising rabbits, if you are going to have a full on rabbitry for meat or show, a couple of better books i recommend are "storey's guide to raising rabbits" by Bob Bennett, and the "official guide to raising better rabbits & cavies"...

This is a very good book for someone starting out *owning* rabbits. There was not, in my opinion, enough covered in detail on raising them. But, the entire book is written relitativly neutral (instead of "this is the ONLY way I'd do it" style) and it is packed with a lot of great information. The pictures are fantastic, and show various breeds. There is also a section on showing if you want to get a taste of that. I wouldn't say this is the only book for your library on bunnies, but it's a good addition. It would be good for children, as it's very basic and easy to read. I'd recommend this book.
