I recently bought a copy of this "How To" book because of a stop I made at the Coral Castle while driving to the Florida Keys eight years ago.

That was when I became more than just curious as to how a near ninety pound -- five foot tall Edward Leedskalnin raised and moved tons of rock without any help or modern equipment. With camera in hand I took over three rolls of pictures that day as I walked amidst the megalithic rocks it contained. I even bought all of Edward Leedskalnin's writings that were for sale in the Coral Castle store, but upon later reading Leedskalnin's writings, I became totally lost by his rambling prose and wondered why I ever bought them since they made no sense at all to me.

When I came upon this "How To" book with its claim that Edward Leedskalnin encoded his secret in his works I couldn't pass it up. After reading it, I wondered if this "How To" book was just a prank or the truth. Did Edward Leedskalnin methodically hide his secret in his works for someone to find in the future, or did Leedskalnin instead take his secret to his grave?

It was then that I decided to put this "How To" book through some tests to see if it was a prank or possibly the truth.

I dug out all the pictures I took of the Coral Castle and to my surprise everything in this "How To" book was there. It wasn't the megalithic rocks that the book described but the symbols and subtle clues Edward Leedskalnin placed that anyone would easily overlook during a single roadside stop at his Coral Castle.

I'm also no genius when it comes to deciphering code but being the skeptic I went the next step. I downloaded an enigma machine simulator of the type the book described and found again to my surprise that the examples in this "How To" book did in fact work as claimed.

Another test, but not the last, was if I could replicate the picture that was described in the book's last chapter by mirroring the cover image of Edward Leedskalnin's book. This "How To" book was again accurate since the previously unseen skulls and crossed bones that this book described became clearly visible as with the eerie humanoid figure standing centered in an open gate.

I will be the first to admit that this "How To" book is most controversial not only of the subject matter it contains but how it is presented. Starting off in a light hearted manner this book quickly becomes serious and then dark and mysterious as it implies to the reader that Edward Leedskalnin's secret is somehow tied in with that unknown realm that all mortals fear.

This author is definitely no different than his unexpected description of Edward Leedskalnin as being a "sneaky little devil" himself. Although he identifies the tools to decode Edward Leedskalnin's works as well as taking you through specific examples of how to use them he holds back from telling you all that he undoubtedly knows or is possibly is allowed to disclose.

This book seems to me akin to being taught how master a playground swing as a child. When you first start someone not only does all the work by pushing you along in the background but also chooses the speed and height you are taken. It is only when you decide to break away, choosing to learn and do the work on your own, do you become master of the swing to achieve the speed and height that your will dares. The author in turn seems to want the reader to make a conscious choice to start with what he gives and use their own free will if they wish to peer into the unknown to discover Edward Leedskalnin's prize.

My tests have shown me that this fresh but controversial "How To" book is not a prank, more than just a tickle and definitely a keeper for my personal library. It is the only book I have found that has shed any new light on the mystery surrounding the individual known as Edward Leedskalnin.

It has become more than clear to me that this author's claim that Edward Leedskalnin encoded his secret in his works for anyone willing to look for it is not just a possibility but the truth.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking to uncover Edward Leedskalnin's secret. But, as the author warns the reader, and as I have since found, once you make the choice and start to uncover Edward Leedskalnin's prize you will definitely become hooked.

After excitedly running downstairs & telling my husband about how Edward Leedskalnin would only respond to precisly two rings at his Rock Gate, I eagerly ran back upstairs to return to reading this book, anticipating a world of secret knowledge opened up to me through revelations about the incredible precision Leedskalnin must have employed in building his fantastic rock garden and in writing his mysterious works about magnetic currents.

However, I soon realized that the part about the two doorbell rings was the only part of this book I would really be able to understand. In a nutshell, it would appear that the author theorizes that Leedskalnin used a double mirror, a WWII enigma machine, the Bible, the properties of light, and his own wit and imagination to encode ancient knowledge about the mysteries of life (including anti-gravity) into both his rock garden and also his works on magnetic current. Also important is the apparent Eastern orientation of Leedskalnin's rock works and written works--all, literally, physically, and figuratively.

The author seems to imply that one could take a dollar bill and wend it through Leedskalnin's written documents to find the answers. Maybe I will try that, because I really couldn't get it from reading this book. I think the author has some interesting things to say about Leedskalnin's works, and offers food for thought and interesting perspectives on the man; but I would venture to say that anyone looking here for THE ANSWERS to the many mysteries posed by Leedsklanin and his amazing feats will come away from this book with more questions.

I think the author tries to warn you that there's something fishy about this book with his little poem at the start, so swim away and don't get caught in the net or hook or whatever he thinks he's fishing with. I suspect if I fold the pages of this book a certain way, it spells out "YOU ARE A SUCKER!!"

Do not waste $28.00 (or 2 cents) on this book. I can't believe I fell for it and wished I would have listened to the guy that said it was "pure drivel" because it was. Marlinski needs a hobby! I thought the book would explain some sort of code or possibly interpret Leedsklanin's sketches or clarify something written incorrectly. . . I don't know. I do know, I didn't expect this: Leedsklanin took out an ad in the news paper to sell his Magnetic Current book, by asking those interested to send him a $1. Somehow, Marlinski reads this as a hint to take that dollar, fold it in half (or thirds, I don't remember and I bet it doesn't matter) and weave it through the pages. The pyramid points to something which leads Marlinski to think Leedsklanin is hinting at something, so if you turn the book upside down, fold that page in half and read one word on each page, you get "ED SAD" which is supposed to mean something.

You'll get more out of the book if you stand on one leg, jump up and down and smack yourself in the head with it, saying, "I can't believe I bought this book when I was warned not to waste my money!"

A picture may be worth a thousand words, but the pictures found especially in the appendix of this book are PRICELESS!

These pictures depict religious sects, secret organizations and strange looking beings along with one interesting picture of Edward Leedskalnin working an unusual machine while wearing a strange metal mask.

There is also one profound picture that is not only astounding but mind opening.

Who would have ever had the insight to mirror the everyday pictures published in the forgotten past bt Edward Leedskalnin to reveal a path to his hidden life for all to see and comprehend?

What a find!

Before I purchased this book, I didn't know what to expect. Are there really clues that Ed.L. was trying to leave behind for us? Can this book give me the clues to them?

Everyone admits that Ed.'s book isn't easy to read, due to the fact that English wasn't his first language. But what I find is that this decoding guide is a lot worse than Ed's book. At least I can follow Ed's instruction by re-reading the guide again. You basically can't follow this author, as he gives you solutions without any supports. And some parts of them can be quite ridiculous. He tells you to fold Ed's original pages in such a way that it will spell 'MAGNET' out of the phrase 'MAGNEttic currenT'. He could have asked us to fold the page between the two T's in 'Magnettic'. But since he wanted us to have something to think about, then why not?

I will keep this review short, since I give up reading the rest of the book. If you enjoy reading tons of questions that the author doesn't plan to offer answers, please turn to page 2-4. If you also enjoy looking at tons of nonsense arrows, please turn to page 2-4 again. If you enjoy reading text in ALL CAPS, please turn to page 6-7. If you enjoy seeing images mirrored at the center, please turn to page 77-80, and 93-96. If you enjoy reading appendix, you have not been left out by this author. The last quarter of this book is all about references, including Morse Code, maps of Coral Castle, Greek alphabets, a drawing of a compass, naval bells, mirrored pictures, Golden Spiral, Golden Triangle, and maps of the nine planets.

If you don't want to be lead far off of the trail of any useful insight on ED.L.'s works, then don't waste your time on this book. This book takes possible evidence and steers it in the wrong direction so as to mislead anyone who doesn't use their judgement while reading it, and causes anyone who sees through the misinformation such distaste for the subject that they are deterred from doing any real research into ED.L.'s writtings. I believe that this book was made with the intent to mislead and I am very insulted that the writer would think that anyone would take this book seriously. The author's stile of taking blind shots in the dark when "decoding" ED.L.'s writting is so random that the same methods could easily be used to make "To Kill A Mockingbird" look like Nazi propaganda.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! This author needs to write a book on How to read his own writings, man it was painful. Do yourself a favor and just get the original writings of Edward Leedskalnin from the Coral Castle Store:

THIS BOOK IS SO BAD IT SHOULD NOT EVEN BE USED FOR LAND-FILL, JUST BURNED ALONG WITH THE AUTHOR'S WRITING EQUIPMENT, WHAT DISGRACEFUL, JIBBERISH, B.S.---NEXT TIME I'LL READ THE REVIEWS FIRST (which I usually do) BUT THIS ONE GOT BY ME. THE AUTHOR SHOULD USE A PEN NAME (if he hasn't already)

This book was given to me as a gift. I read it cover to cover and found it to be pure junk! The author suggests that a simple man like Edward Leedskalnin (forth grade education) was some super genius like the best chess player in the world. For starters, the author assumes Ed used an Enigma machine to code his book, Really? Where did Ed get an Enigma machine and why was one never seen or found in his possessions. The author's explanations (if you can call them that) are nonsense. He starts with this secret code then when it doesn't work out for the next section he just changes the code to suit his needs, and even then there are no real conclusions. After reading this garbage I had no more understanding about how this man accomplished the building of this park as I had before. I then read a book on Coral Castle and found that real documented information about Ed and his works explained much about what he did, what he knew and how he said he did it, Yes that's right Said!. Ed explained that he used simple tools like pulleys, levers and ramps. He explained this to the many visitor that he personally gave the tour of this Coral castle to including Students. It was amazing that one man alone did these using only simple tools. That is where Ed's real genius and talent is not this authors Spooky, secret nonsense.

This is the worst book I've ever read. It's expensive, and it's pure drivel. It's amazing it was published. Waste of a tree. One must learn to use one's OWN mind and heart to divine truth. The paths to being mislead are infinite.
