My husband got this book and said anyone that can read, they can rebuild a motor with this book.

This book details the engine removal, rebuild, and rebuild process. Great info and insight regarding a B series build. If you want to build a B series engine and you are not a Honda certified tech, this book is essential!

This book was an awsome book! I enjoyed reading it and the pictures made it simple to understand every step. After reading this book I feel like I know the ins and out of the B-Series motor.(B18) I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in Hondas or about to rebuild their motor.

Well written. There are a ton of good quality pictures almost on a step-by-step basis. This How-to can get you through 95% of a b-series rebuild and install. The other 5% can be found on forums and online write ups.

I waited eagerly for this book and was not disappointed. I "digested" it completely in 3 days of on and off reading. The format of the book is excellent - 3/4 pictures, 1/4 supporting text. Now I am ready to assemble and startup my own engine without fear of it blowing up during the first few minutes of "life". Highly recommended for those of us "inclined" to work with mechanical objects but scared of doing more harm than good due to a lack of experience.

Good book to use as a photo based reference in companionship with an actual service manual. Appendixes are good. You will save yourself aggravation if you read this book before or during the disassembly!

I drive a 97 spec JDM ITR and it's time to pop the hood and hit the internals. Only problem is I am no mechanic and really wanted to understand the process and participate in another form than just paying the bills.
After reading this book I feel I can do it myself! Every step is displayed with images and easy to understand steps. It's a must have for any honda fan out there and mandatory if you own a B series engine!

this book is okay. got couple of detail not fully instruct set by step like they say. it doesn't show all b serie motor only the one they talk about throughout the book is the b16, not the gsr. picture are ok. and the rebuilding part, it not that great, plain and simple not enough infomation. i think this book is just for newbie that want to know more about the motor. but i think the hayne book is much better! for the price? no, it's not worth it.

Great book for reference that covers things that the car manuals do not. I knew this would be the case for my car but my B20A5 engine is barely covered by this book. Not a fault of the book, just not a common engine. Great series these books, don't pass them up if you are going to do engine work. A few $'s on a book is a lot less expensive than not knowing how to size barrings to your crank shaft!

A very good book in understanding Honda's B-series engines. I just started rebuilding and I have to say that I was able to successfully complete the mount on my '95 Honda Civic Hatchback.
