5.0 out of 5 stars Great holiday book!
After reading this book, not only will you feel in a happy holiday spirit, you'll have the urge to put on a santa suit & go around spreading cheer to others. In fact, I think I will!

3.0 out of 5 stars making your christmas special
I expected a how to manual on being Santa. This has some of that but it focuses mainly on the mindset of being Santa.

It was an easy read that helped me in a way I didn't realize I needed.

5.0 out of 5 stars An EXCELLENT quick pick me up!, November 27, 2001

I found this book quite by accident while strolling around Pottery Barn, I picked it up and started to read it, a little while later I was in a better mood and NEEDED to have this book. Working in retail in this crazy season, one tends to forget the joys of the holiday, this book certainly bought them back. I not only got this book for myself but, picked it up for some others that needed some holiday pick me up's:)

5.0 out of 5 stars Santa is in the heart not the mall, November 14, 2001

This book is a work of art. Interesting photography combined with wit and humor and a touch of sentiment to warm even the coldest heart. Santa is not a person as much as a frame of mind. By the way, Santa does indeed wear real boots.

2.0 out of 5 stars Practically useless, February 5, 2010

This review is from: How to Be Santa Claus (Hardcover)
This is a cute little book, but if you're really interested in learning to be a Santa, save your money. It's nothing more than a cute little book. It is practically useless if you're looking for information on "How to be Santa Claus."

This book is the perfect gift for a Santa or Santa to be or just a holiday heart toucher. I send these books out with my Santa Suit rentals (own a costume shoppe) to give an edge to my Santas helpers. It is simply wonderful.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic, December 12, 2005
This review is from: How to Be Santa Claus (Hardcover)
This book is great fun. This book makes me want to go out and get a Santa suit. It's whimsical and fun and reminds me of the excitement I felt as a child.

Imagine letting go of all those holiday stresses and embracing the playfulness and joy of Christmas like you did as a child. Imagine having fun and sharing that same fun with others.

If nothing else, this book made me imagine new possibilities.

Wait until they see me at the office party, and my Dad's house, and...

5.0 out of 5 stars My aunt is my Santa Claus, November 1, 2001
This review is from: How to Be Santa Claus (Hardcover)
Of course Santa Claus is real, what are you thinking? ;>

Well, I know some people who like to play Santa Claus and in this book Santa is more of a state of mind. This book captures the spirit of Santa.

For everyone who has never stopped believing that
magic can happen, and you can be the one
to make it happen.

My aunt has always been my favorite Santa Claus. She even used to sign all her gifts to us: From Santa.

She really knew what Christmas was all about. It is in the spirit of giving we realize the true joy of the season.

Because it is also then we celebrate God's greatest gift to us.

3.0 out of 5 stars A bit disappointed, January 20, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: How to Be Santa Claus (Hardcover)
This was the first book I bought from Amazon, and I was a bit disappointed. I was expecting the book to be a how to manual on physically getting into the character of Santa. I have been performing as Santa for 20 years and was looking at enhancing it a bit further. Even with taking a Santa class at a clown convention, I wanted more. I have not been able to attend one of the fine Santa Schools for all things Santa, yet.

What the book was lacking, it is very good at the Mental portion for the belief of Santa and getting in the spirit of Christmas. The photos and content based on mental spirit is good, hence a 3 stars. I would have added a byline to the title, to let one know it's the spirit not a "how to treatise" on putting the physical character together.
