I admit that before reading this book, I knew nothing about skateboards, so when I was asked to look at my neighbours, I was a bit wary. This book not only guided me through all the things I should know, but with detailed guidance, I was able to accomplish the things I didn't know. I was suprised with all the theory, as I believed that a skateboard was simply a board with wheels. This book is right up my son's alley. He knows from a user's point of view how accurate this book is at covering all the many ways a skateboard must be fixed and maintained. He has even learned some new tips about the mechanics of them, and that's not easy for any teenager to admit (since they already know everything).
