Basic information for the new buisness owner,
This review is from: How Small Businesses Capture Talent: 164 Strategies for Recruiting and Hiring Winners (Paperback)
I was looking for a book that would help make a dynamic hire...and this wasn't it. The information provided is geared at a start-up business person and is very general. More bothersome is the near constant mention of TAB (the authors franchise business "The Alternative Board"). It is mentioned so many times, it frankly became annoying and started sounding like an ad for the TAB franchisor. If you are a start-up, this might have some infomration, but if you are looking for some meatier material, look past this one.

This review is from: How Small Businesses Capture Talent: 164 Strategies for Recruiting and Hiring Winners (Paperback)
"This book is excellent and is good reading. Having done a lot of recruiting myself, I think every business owner, large or small should be told to read it and to stress the importance of top management's participation in the recruiting process. I find this book educational, informative and well thought out. I learned a great deal and believe the principles discussed here could apply to product sales as well as recruiting!"
