5.0 out of 5 stars Not just for parents and teachers, but for everyone, May 15, 2007

This review is from: How am I Smart?: A Parent's Guide to Multiple Intelligences (Paperback)
This book is a fabulous resource for anyone, not just for those involved with children! I'm 40 years old, not a parent nor a teacher, and I discovered many wonderful things about myself, how I'm smart, and about the people around me. I also learned that it's never too late to train my smarts, so I'm now working on growing my "body smart," which is my least-developed way of being smart. Read this book to learn how you are smart, and how you and the people around you, even if they're not children, can learn to grow the different smarts.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful book!, January 12, 2012
This review is from: How am I Smart?: A Parent's Guide to Multiple Intelligences (Paperback)
My son doesn't think he is smart because he is not word smart or logic smart. I have tried to convince him in the past but he didn't believe me. After reading this book now I am able to show him the areas that he is smart in, but also help him strengthen his weaknesses. It is so easy to say. "I'm not good at that," instead of working to improve the weak areas.
