I read the "reviews" on this book and I have to say I was very surprised. I have read this twice and yes, some of it is common sense, but some people DO NOT know basic etiquette, (ex. not to swear in front of other, etc.) Even things like "picking one's ears" in public. I , too have seen this and was appalled!Lisa is TRYING to help women, here. She tells you thing like quality men do not want a bleached blonde with huge silicone breasts.(Not for a wife anyway)I have dated many wealthy men and have found this to be true.(And YES I did marry one, also) I do think that Ginie Polo Sayles book is by far the best ever written on the subject as far as meeting wealthy men, but Lisa's book gives great advice as far as public behavior, not having sex too soon, having good manners and VOCABULARY.I personally think Ginie's book emphasizes sex TOO much and men may lose interest or think of you as a toy.
Overall, Lisa has a good book that helps you cultivate your mind and KEEP a quality man but not so great ideas about meeting them.Get Ginies book to meet them, Lisa'a will help you in your social graces.

A friend asked me to read this book to see if the advise would work on women trying to snare me, and I have to say - it would. Ms. Johnson gives advise to help any woman become classier and more attractive to any man - not just the rich. But, speaking as a well-off guy, I think her advise is great - both on how to fashion your life and on how to meet wealthy men. I was a bit bemused by the review I read from the woman in New York. Wealthy men don't want gold diggers, they want a woman who can be a true companion, and Ms. Johnson shows you how to achieve that in her book. Ms. Johnson's book should not be panned because she is not married to a millionaire or taking money from one. She obviously has had many opportunities to marry a rich man, but has chosen not to at this point in her life. Her advise is right on the money (pardon the pun) - and I suggest any woman who wants to better herself get it and read it.

At first glance I wasn't sure of what to expect from this book. I read it out of curiosity and once I started the book, I couldn't put it down! If you don't take the subject matter to seriously and just read the book for enjoyment, you will learn from the tips Lisa Johnson shares. She seems very knowledgeable in this subject matter and I am thankful that she took the time to pass these valuable tips along to the public. I have dated a few millionaires's myself and after reading this book, I was able to be myself and at the same time keep them interested. I keep a copy of the book with me at all times, as a reference. I feel that every woman should read this book and I hope the author will write more books revealing any other tips that she may have!

I have read several books on how to marry a wealthy man and I found this book to be one of the most practical. Lisa takes you through the entire process step by step. From where to meet wealthy men to prenuptual agreements. If your goal is to be the type of woman who can hold her own with the country club Debs, this is the book for you. I borrowed this book from a friend, and I found the book to be both entertaining and witty. I believe that a lot of her suggestions could be applied to anyone's lifestyle. Even if you aren't ready to snare a mate and are enjoying the single life, it's a good book to read to get more out of the times that you ARE out and about looking for that perfect mate. It's a quick read and definitely worth the time.

This Lisa Johnson knows exactly what she is talking about. The mere fact that she has been proposed to by so many millionares, and not chosen to marry any of them speaks very highly of her. I commend her for her honesty and sharing her thoughts with the rest of us. I thought the book was very informative in describing what dating a millionare is like. It helped me be a better person regardless of whom I date. Incidentally I have already dated 4 millionares thanks to Lisa's helpful advice. I too, like her have chosen not to marry any of these men, yet. I am having so much fun dating them, that I do not want to tie myself with just one. Let's face it, why have plain coffee when you can have have a double tall, extra creamy latte?

I saw Lisa Johnson on Montel Willialms recently and had to run out and buy her book. I love it! It's more of a manual for looking and feeling like a million than for gold digging. Unlike other books on the same theme, she doesn't advocate trying to sponge off rich men. She just teaches you how to find them, attract them, and enjoy them. I don't blame her for not wanting to settle down with just one rich man when she has dozens at her disposal. If you don't believe her, maybe you should try following her advice and seeing how it works for you. As for me, I've practiced what she preaches and in the past two weeks I've received date offers from three wealthy men! Wow! I'm converted.

I started reading this book with a basic idea of "the millionaire mind"--being "involved" with a couple to an extent. This book was both a good source of reference and enligtening at the same time. It gives you so much information for so little money (don't let the price fool you). It's VERY realistic and equally hilarious. No airhead, gold-digger advice given here. VERY useful for down-to-earth, realistic, self-sufficient and intelligent women everywhere!

I love this book! Without taking herself or the subject matter too seriously, Lisa Johnson gives extremely helpful tips not just for snaring rich guys, but for making yourself look and feel like a million as well. Regardless of whether or not I marry a millionaire, I'm a better person for having read the book. The guys I've asked about it say these ideas could work on anyone. What a find!

This book is about figuring out what you want from a relationship and finding the right man for you. She gives advice about how to improve yourself so that you attract the type of person you want. She does NOT tell you to be a gold digger or only go after men with money. She covers manners & ethics while dating with useful tips to follow.

This book is just another resource for self-improvement & improving your dating skills. Regardless of whether you want to get a rich man or just someone who is in your current economic class this book will tell you how to be the best person you can be while dating.

Some of the things she tells you like doing your homework just makes good sense. It's considerate to learn a man's food allergies so you don't make him sick or guilty that he can't eat when you cook him a meal. Also if you really like a man it makes sense to learn what perfume he likes or if likes you to wear dresses when you go out. It's easy to wear what's comfortable & do your own thing but relationships are about give & take by both people. I think this book was interesting & worth reading.
