When I started reading 'How to Do Space Age Work with a Stone Age Brain", I realized why the author tells us that we do not have to read it all at once. Indeed, I keep this book as my desk-top reference for just about anything I do at work. The most amazing thing about Eve's book is that I can open it up to any page and find absolutely invaluable tips for my daily activities. I even followed Eve's recommendation and purchased the Home Filing System for my home office. I recommend this book for all busy professionals who are overwhelmed with the information avalanche and need new ways to improve their effectiveness.

It's always fun to read a book that keeps your interest. In this case, Eve's book is fun and offers lots of practical suggestions. The tests that she urges folks to take to identify how they think and operate help make the whole concept personal.
Everyone will get something from this book. Eve promises that one will gain an hour a day if her suggestions are embraced and this is very true. A great gift for anyone!

This book helped me reclaim space, time and energy. The helpful tests got me organizing my office to best fit my learning style, which has saved me time and energy. I then had a brain breakthrough: Why was I saving years of old paper? I now have a much cleaner and greener office. The tips and suggestions are simple, easy to do and save a lot of time plus space.

This book is for anyone who wants to get more out of their day and have some fun doing it. I've never experienced an interactive book like it. Somewhere between the Brain and Information sections I realized that anyone can use Eve's brain-based tips to forever improve their information management. As a sales expert, I'm already well-organized, so the benefits of investing time to make time is a part of the way I work. I was so impressed with Eve's new paper and computer tips that I bought my assistant her own copy. She's using it as a desk reference in her Action Zone.

I found the book to be very interesting. It was able to keep my attention and I have used several of the organizing ideas both ar work and at home. Eve is correct, for every hour spent organizing, it will take several hours less to do your weekly workload.

I've been a proponent of right-left brain exercise and access for many years and offer a workshop specifically to leverage both sides of the brain for greater success and fulfillment, whether you're a CEO, consultant, academic or professional. The brain information and exercises in Eve's book are for anyone wanting to leverage "more of themself" for improved effectiveness at work.

Her tip about Subject-Only E-mails changed the way I do e-mail with clients and colleagues and saves me time every day!

When you read this excellent book, you will discover a number of practical time-saving tips that will pay off for you time and time again. It is a small investment in time and money for the returns you will realize when you read the book. Few other books I have ever read have as great a pay-back as Eve Abbott's excellent, practical, time-saving book. Get it now!!

I'm hopeless at organization; and was desparate to do something to get better at it.
Having laboured through most of the book it appears that only the writer and publisher were impressed and knew what was being discussed. It is a visual rubbish heap. There is the impression of wanting to save the planet; rather than staying with a number of points and principles that will enable simpletons like me to understand it.
The deluge of information for the likes of me is mind-deadening. Poorly presented and a total lack of consideration for the intended audience. The author is so busy getting organized she forgot to organize the direction of the book. She might be super impressed with it; but I'm not!

Not only have I found this book practical and useful, but I have given it to several colleagues, clients and friends. All have put the tips and ideas to work right away.

My office is much easier to use with the right files in the right place. It is convenient and a pleasure to be this organized!

The kind of organizing tips that are practical and can be put right to work - unlike all the other books that I pick up and have on my shelf. And the added advantage of learning about the places that I trip myself up.
