While this covered a few important phrases, and the recorded pronunciations are nice, it is important to note this is a children's board book. It is basically only 10 pages long, with each page having three phrases on it. Of those three phrases, only one is recorded for you to listen to. If you are planning a trip to Q'onoS anytime soon, I would suggest using this book to help with pronunciation and getting a larger book to help expand your vocabulary.

I was at a restaurant on Qo'nos - The Rokeg Pie Factory (think Cheesecake Factory) - and being that my dinner bit me on the tongue, my mouth wasn't working right. So, when I asked the waiter if the targ was free-range, I accidentally said the chef was a targ. Fortunately, the misunderstanding was cleared up, and the chef served gagh the way they serve shrimp at a Japanese steak house...

tlhlngan Hol Dajatlh'a'? ghobe'? I shall speak the weak tongue of the Earther in that case!

I first saw this book last weekend at TrekTrax Atlanta. It was only on display and not for sale. We ordered it Saturday night and it arrived Monday! It really is a cute book. There is a button for each page that yells at you in Klingon so you know just how to pronounce the words.

Even if your mother has a smooth forehead, you need this book. Very much Qapla'

Don't expect to be fluent in Klingon after reading this book. However, the phrases are very well-crafted, the pages are quality, and the recordings are excellent. The book is very short, but worth every penny, especially if you plan on ordering Targ at any restaurant.

Great for beginners and situations around town where English doesn't cut it. Perfect gift for trekkies young and old. Thanks!

If you ever thought you might be in an office where Klingon is spoken or need to ask directions on the Klingon homeworld, this is the book for you. Seriously, though, if you are interested in Klingon as a constructed language, you probably need to look elsewhere. I for one, loved the situations portrayed in the book. Great illustrations!

I love the cartoons, the audio in this. I keep it in my cube at work, and many people use it regularly. Adorable and short compared to other Klingon vocabulary books, but definitely worth adding to the collection.

My husband is a "Trekkie" and I gave him this for Christmas. It was just for fun, and I have thoroughly enjoyed it! Him... not so much. His high school students, however, have loved it.
