3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good, April 1, 2006
Nobody's said anything about this CD in six years, so I'll chip in. If you like roots rock, bar-band styles (Slobberbone, Uncle Tupelo, Pawtuckets, etc) you will find some things to like here. The singing quality is kinda middlesome... which is my main reason for giving it a 3.

4.0 out of 5 stars great album, October 14, 2000
yes, this is a great album. tsl was an exceptional grass-roots, middle american rock band. unfortunately, i recall that the band members went their separate ways not too long after its release. if you can find it, definitely check out their first ep on the scotti brothers label - in my opinion a superior effort and better example of their ability.

5.0 out of 5 stars great CD from an unappreciated band, July 30, 2000

This CD is quite possibly the best suprise I have gotten in a while. I don't want to pigeonhole this CD by trying to assign it a category, but if you like gear daddies, blue mountain, or uncle tupelo you should love this. It not as county as these bands, but the song writing and performce is on par with them. I hope Truck Stop Love is still around, but I'm not sure. If so, this album really promises some great things. If not, this just goes to show that great music and success don't always go together. Also, check out the hidden track at the end, its one of the most wonderful lamentations I've ever heard.
