"Anyone looking for inspiration, either for their own life or to share with others, will find a gold mine of quotes here. This book isn't just for sports fans." -- Martha Kushner, Author "The Truth About Caffeine"

"I had never heard of a self-help sports anthology before I read How To Succeed In The Game of Life. Christian Klemash sat down with a veritable who’s who coaching hall of fame, from Red Auerbach to John Wooden, and not only picked their minds, but also captured their souls. It’s a perfect portal for anyone seeking a better way, and it is a quintessential must-read for any sports fan." -- Rich Eisen, NFL Network

"There is something for everyone in Christian Klemash's treasure trove of coaching insights into the game of life. This is must reading, a sort of bible that anyone--male or female, young or old-- can turn to when confronted with the hills and valleys of the journey. By getting so many great coaches to talk so candidly about their personal and professional highs and lows, Klemash has lifted the level of his own experience. A book to be savored on any number of levels--instructional, inspirational, intriguing and, above all, invigorating." -- Neil Amdur, New York Times

How DO you succeed in the game of life? One way is learning by example. The sum experience of 34 Championship Coaches lays the groundwork for Christian Klemash's how-to. I want to know how these guys do it - so I can do it, too! A quick and fulfilling read; one that you'll reference for life! -- Michael Barkann, Comcast Sportsnet

If you're not moved by the people who have opened up to Christian Klemash, then you should think about purchasing a new couch because you are never getting off the one you are presently attached to. While it is much more difficult to inspire with the written word than with personal contact, Christian has pulled it off, with a "little help" from his friends!! -- Jody McDonald, Sports Radio 950 Philadelphia

Many great and inspiring stories. We loved it! -- Keith & Sharmai Amber, Hosts, Mastering Ourselves Radio

5.0 out of 5 stars Inspiring & Entertaining, September 29, 2006
This review is from: How to Succeed in the Game of Life: 34 Interviews with the World's Greatest Coaches (Hardcover)
I bought this book because I am a sports fan & love anything sports related. This is truly an inspiring book for sports fans and non-sports fans, men and women, adults and teens alike. There is something in there for everyone. I find it amazing that the author was able to get interviews with all of these great coaches.

The book reveals great insights into how and why these successful coaches are successful. These insights can be applied to everyone in all aspects of life. There are some great quotes by the coaches also. I cannot say enough good things about this book. It was an easy, enjoyable read.

This would make a great Christmas gift, hostess gift AND/OR coffee table book. I already have my coffee table edition. I am buying this book for a lot of people on my Christmas list. I'll also buy a few extra copies for those I may need a gift for but forgot to buy.

I purchased this book while I was searching for a "golden nugget" for a speech I was preparing for high school students. What I found was an entire gold mine of inspirational quotes and ideas! I truly enjoyed this book, and found many bits and pieces that I will share with others. I've already purchased a gift copy, and have shared mine with several others. I would highly recommend "How To Succeed In The Game of Life" to high school and college coaches, teachers, counselors, ministers, and parents....anyone who is in the business of working with young people and advising them as they navigate the difficult road to their future. There's plenty within for the "older folks" who need to be re-inspired in their own lives as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars This book couldn't have come at a better time for me, October 9, 2006
This review is from: How to Succeed in the Game of Life: 34 Interviews with the World's Greatest Coaches (Hardcover)
I actually heard Christian Klemash doing a radio interview where he talked about this inspiring book and about 2 days later I was at the book store. This book is helping me try to figure out where I want to go and how I may get there. I recently just had my second back operation in 5 years. I will probably not be able to work in my profession again but with this book, I am hoping to succeed in other areas of my life. I can definitely use some of the philosphies that Christian has pulled from these great coaches, pull them together and push myself forward with confidance and believe in whatever it is I choose to do. Thanks Mr. Klemash.
