Very Imformative Book!!
I found the book very informative. I have read the book now 3 times and learn something new each time. I have been accused and sentenced to do time, and this book helped me ease into that state of mind. the suggestions are extremely important for anyone about to imbark into the crazy world of the prison sentence! Thanks!

A bit outdated - Does not address new BOP policy
Having found myself in need of guidance in this area I purchased a number of books - all of which claimed to provide "real" information on the realities of inmate life within the Bureau of Prisons. Although the anecdotes in this book are, at times, amusing, the practical information is woefully outdated - I found this out the hard way. Take a look at...

Having found myself in need of guidance in this area I purchased a number of books - all of which claimed to provide "real" information on the realities of inmate life within the Bureau of Prisons. Although the anecdotes in this book are, at times, amusing, the practical information is woefully outdated - I found this out the hard way. Take a look at www.davrie.com. Their stuff is up to date and much more applicable to those who find themselves in this situation.
