Book Description

Katniss Everdeen operates in survival mode on a daily basis. How to Survive The Hunger Games explores how Katniss’s childhood experience, combined with her survival instinct, makes her the ultimate opponent in The Hunger Games.

How to Survive The Hunger Games is a chapter taken straight from The Hunger Games Companion, the ultimate companion guide to the blockbuster Hunger Games trilogy—this book is not authorized by Suzanne Collins, Scholastic Press or anyone involved in the Hunger Games movie.

Also included in this eBook is a sneak 80-page preview of THE HUNT, an all-new novel that today’s hottest authors are raving about!

THE HUNT is coming May 2012.

EARLY PRAISE FOR THE HUNT

"One of the most brilliant, original books I've read in a very long time. Andrew Fukuda has created a vision of the world both terrifying and fascinating. This is the kind of book you'll want to stay up all night to finish!" —Richelle Mead, #1 bestselling author of the Vampire Academy Series

"With razor-sharp prose, a genius plot, and a searing pace that will have you ripping through the pages, Fukuda creates a dark and savage post-apocalyptic world where vampires are evil, humans are nearly extinct and love manages to bloom despite all the odds stacked against it. An exceptional novel—I can't wait for the sequel!" —Alyson Noël, #1 bestselling author of the Immortals Series

"Chilling, inventive, and utterly unputdownable, The Hunt masterfully dances between horror and dystopian. Readers, proceed...if you dare. This book will bleed into your nightmares." —Becca Fitzpatrick, bestselling author of the Hush, Hush Saga

"A book that grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go. The Hunt is both terrifying and sublime, with every page evoking that fragile, yet unyielding thing we call humanity." —Andrea Cremer, bestselling author of The Nightshade Trilogy

2.0 out of 5 stars Not exactly what I was looking for May 31, 2012

Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book was not exactly what I was looking for. It was interesting. Makes you think of what the end of the world would be like and just how weak or strong your survival skills would be.

1.0 out of 5 stars I don't recommend this December 20, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I'll keep this short to save everyone time.
I started this book because I enjoyed the trilogy. I was very disappointed that the writer seemed to hardly know the story. There were statements made about the books that were false.

5.0 out of 5 stars More like a survival guide... April 29, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
This book was very.... much like a survival guide. It was pretty good and comes in handy in the willderness or camping and also, though very little relates to the hunger games trilogy. I say that you should bring this with you camping because it does come in handy. It wasn't good, but it wasn't bad either. But how do you ridicule a free book?? I suggest you buy it if you are going in to the wilderness or camping. You should definitely get this book. It may not relate tho the hunger games very much but it still was quite good.

1.0 out of 5 stars not much April 28, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
There isn't much in this book about the hunger games. They tease you with about 25% of the book being hunger games related. The rest is just an add for the hunt. I am glad the book was free because I am dissapointed.

1.0 out of 5 stars dissapointing April 28, 2012
By AllyKat
Format:Kindle Edition
I was dissapointed that when I read a quarter of the book, I realized tht most of the book was an add. I was also frightned when I saw a list of masacres. Were these to compare to the games? Not impressed.

This was free on Kindle and that is even a stretch. I suspect this "book" was probably some high school kid's research paper for American lit. Read more
