5.0 out of 5 stars If you want to be "In Charge" of your sex life, read this!
Ladies, ever wonder what men are thinking or why the "spark has died"?... read this book and fan the flames into an inferno!

Gave this book to my wife (hid it under her pillow before leaving for the office) and within the week, our love making has become MUCH more open and exciting! Thank you Candida!!

1.0 out of 5 stars WASTE of money! Such BASIC advice, you'd have to be a virgin living in a cave to learn anything new!
I really had high hopes when I purchased this book, considering the glowing reviews. The title was especially alluring because I can be rather timid when it comes to vocalizing my desires and talking sexy. But seriously folks, some of the "advice" was so basic I laughed aloud! Such advice included things like personal hygiene (nothing new and edgy like vajazzling, but...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great info, run read!, December 10, 2004

This book is easy to get into, really flows. I've tried some of the tips Royalle offers and they've worked quite well! She gives great advice on how to ask for what you want, when to do it...and provides great resource lists. I even had run reading it with my boyfriend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Dr. Annie Sprinkle, Ph.D., July 1, 2005
Candida Royalle so generously shares her wisdom and experience with us in this book. Fabulous for women, but also for men. It is written from the heart as well as the clit! It's fun, sexy and a very worthwhile read. I enjoyed reading about Candida's experiences as a feminist sex film maker. Very inspiring. From a certified sexologist's perspective, the book's information is also very sound and current.

I really had high hopes when I purchased this book, considering the glowing reviews. The title was especially alluring because I can be rather timid when it comes to vocalizing my desires and talking sexy. But seriously folks, some of the "advice" was so basic I laughed aloud! Such advice included things like personal hygiene (nothing new and edgy like vajazzling, but things like using soap on your private parts and under arms!!). Really?! And all this time I was showering without washing my privates and under arms! Another bit of sage advice included not wearing "skin tight" clothing if you're a big-boned woman! Seriously? Other tips included soft lighting in the bedroom (wow! revolutionary idea!)and a list of outdated songs to set the mood. A miniscule section on talking sexy advised readers to just vocalize what you'd like done to you, aka: "Honey? Would you please put your such-and-such into my such-and-such? Thanks a bunch." Okay, so the "thanks a bunch" was my lame attempt at a rhyme, but you get the drift. Everything was so basic, I had to keep reminding myself that Candida (which, by the way, is also the clinical name for a yeast infection) was a porn star and now produces her own line of porn! She does devote large amounts of space to promoting her movies. She also likes to keep mentioning the fact that she's such an insatiable vixen that she's only had two "beaus" (out of the thousands of men she's slept with...yikes! Diseases anyone?!) who could keep up with her! Meow!

This is a wonderful, down-to earth and sexy book!!! I have given it to some of my friends who are in new relationships and they have loved it, too. Candida Royalle's engaging and generously personal writing style has much to offer her audience. A must-read for all women who wish to nuture and enhance their erotic lives. Great insight and suggestions for keeping long-term relationships exciting, as well as beauty and health tips aimed to help women feel and look their best. An empowering, positive message!

5.0 out of 5 stars Funny, smart, sexy: my girlfriend loved it (me too), October 4, 2004

My girlfriend had this on her coffee table, and the cover caught my eye. Love the title. She could tell me what to do while naked any day (Candida OR my girlfriend or both). I love her style of writing and I wish all girls had her kind of comfort level with her body and sexuality. Maybe this book will help.

This wonderful book makes me hope Candida Royalle continues writing. I think a memoir is in order posthaste!

It was interesting to read...however...it didn't contain much information that a normal 20-something doesn't know...at least in my experience and those of my friends! :)

However - it does have a lot of information that all women need to know! So if you're sheltered - buy this book!

How to Tell a Naked Man What to Do: Sex Advice from a Woman Who Knows

Because of the title, I taught that this was a man oriented book in wich Mrs Royalle was doing us the favor or revealing "the secret" to please our women. It is more a women oriented book who tells the girls how to make sure they will get what they want...and asking in the most subtle way if they have to. I enjoyed the book for my part even if it was impossible for me to practice some of the "Tricks" we found in it but, If I ever have the chance to meet a girl who has read that book and who is becoming "subtle" with me, I will probably react much better and not asking myself "What is going on ?"
Don't get me wrong here, there are a few tricks for men but the book was created for women and teach how to get her men to do things she wants.
