5.0 out of 5 stars I wish I had this ebook when I first started online August 14, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
I started online many years ago and bought many books and courses that I thought would help me with my online journey. I was naive back then, I didn't realise people only wanted you to buy more and more of their books and not really get successful yourself (because if you did, you wouldn't need to buy any more books).

Instead, I got sent down so many dead end roads, spending much more than I earned and not really getting anywhere with my online business.

Then I found this guy's blog about 1 year now and his advice is solid. I can see what I had been doing wrong before and now I'm working on putting things right. He'll give you tips and ideas, the results of his testing, what he found works and what doesn't, how he picks his niches, how he writes his content...oh, and he tells you a lot about backlinking.

Don't be put off by the price of this ebook, it's cheap but packed with the right advice that will set you on your path to online success IF follow the advice that the author gives. I wish I had had this ebook when I first started out, because I would be earning a decent income by now.

This this isn't a get rich quick book which is why you need to implement what you are taught and work CONSISTENLY and work HARD in order to see results but only after about 6-12 months. It all depends on your niche, your work ethic and not getting distracted by other ebooks and courses to buy.

If you could change your life after putting in solid work for some months, would you do it?

You only need 1 good book to change your life and this is THAT BOOK.

5.0 out of 5 stars Building a Successful Website August 6, 2011
By ChrisCD
Format:Kindle Edition
I have been in this game for quite some time. I have always stayed away from tricks and just tried to have straightforward content. Dave, is of the same mind. He is also honest about having some sites he is really proud of and some he purely has to make money.

Have no doubts, this book can help you be successful on the web. But, it contains one scary (even nightmarish thought). You have to do the work. And it is work. You will need to be willing to do this for a few years and then success will come.

Dave, great book. And yes, there were tips in there I hadn't thought of. Well worth the price.

cd :O)

5.0 out of 5 stars This Book is Priceless to the SEO Website Builder August 6, 2011
By Terry
Format:Kindle Edition
I've been in the business of building websites for monetary gain for several years and have been very successful at creating my own full time income from it. But I didn't get here by not educating myself on the best ways to do it. I've read extensively and always pick up new books on the subject because this is an ever changing business.

I just read this latest addition to the Internet webmaster and marketer school of learning and it blew me away! Sure, there are plenty of things in there I already knew. But the essence of this book is to take anyone who builds websites and blogs to make money and lead them through all aspects of getting it right. The author does an excellent job of tutoring the novice and intermediate web marketer in the right way to go about building a website (or several) that will not only make them money but also make them proud.

The book even taught this old dog a few new tricks, which is saying something!

I'd recommend it to anyone who is serious about putting their efforts into an online web-based business. It shows how to do it right and how to avoid making the mistakes that the 95% of failed marketers make. Well worth the small investment, especially when comparable ebooks can sell for many times the price of this Kindle edition.

It's not often you get to have a conversation with someone who has successfully made a living online. This book feels like you are sitting down with the author in a pub having a short, but direct talk about building websites.

I am not a techie guys and the conversational tone of this book immediately put me at ease with the subject matter.
It is not a take you by the hand type of guide that is out of date by the time you read it, but it deal with the realities and the work involved to be a success online.

Dave doesn't pull many punches, and emphasizes that it takes work, but also makes it all very within reach.
I wish I could give it 6 stars....

More About the Author

Dave, aka Zen Duck Dave, author of the blog zenduck.me, born (1973-still alive) has a passion for doing anything he can to avoid working for "The Man".

To this end he dedicated himself to learning how to make money online.

It all came about when his Wife had to leave him for 3 months to earn money as they were so poor. A few years later and he had found the secret...earning commissions through affiliate links placed on the Interwebs super-highway.

He realized that as he was rather articulate he could write blogs and recommend products and earn a nice living in his underwear, and he often even fails to brush his hair for days on end (it's nice and curly though).

Now he spends much of his time smoking his pipe and wearing comfy slippers while being fed grapes by semi-clad women (when the Wife is out shopping).

If you want to learn how to make a living online then you really should read his publications, they are brilliant.

DISCLAIMER: All biographical content is written by Dave and may not be factual on all points, especially the bit about the pipe!
