Format: Paperback
"How to Innovate" is a very powerful book that is a must read for any middle to senior level manager who wants to bring a new level of innovation and success to their teams and company. This book is filled with practical steps and meaningful explanations of why each step is so crucial to build effective and innovative teams. It covers more than just how to communicate well, but how to use whole brain thinking, the creative process, and new ways to build and support your teams. I plan to use these techniques in my own company and believe they will give me the success and long term sustainability I'm after.

This book made me think about innovation differently, and made me realize how critical it is to success of any type today. Innovation is not just for the techies as most of us would think. Maya Mathias helped me understand that innovation is actually not optional for the rest of us. But this book goes beyond just inspiring a new appreciation for innovation. Its really useful tips are helping me apply my own "InnoMojo" to the pursuits that matter to me.

This is a wonderful book on innovation and the evolution of business. While it seems Maya often focuses on an audience that may be in a larger company or running one, I found it to be extremely helpful in my role in a small non-profit. "How To Innovate: Vol 1: Unleash Your InnoMojo opened me up to different ways of thinking about innovation and evolution, and this can be vital in the non-profit world. I never thought innovation could have so many applications in other parts of life outside of business as well, and the way Maya shared her improv experience has sparked my interest in trying it out soon. No matter what walk of life you are in, if you are at the top of your game and want to stay there, or if you're just starting out and want to put your best foot forward, this book is an essential read!
