Tattered, torn, yellow and taped together,

This review is from: How to Use ESP: The Hidden Power of Your Mind (Paperback)
I was originally given a copy of this book for my birthday in July of 1969 by my aunt. I was a 16-year living during an amazing time. It's hard to believe or imagine that a teenager read such a book. Harder still to imagine is that this book is still by my bedside 32 years later: Torn, faded, yellow and held together with tape. This book has had a profound affect on my life. Unfortunately, space does not permit me to describe what has happened during the past 32 years. I can say that if you are able to get a copy of this book, and follow the author's instructions regarding the 'golden circle,'you will likely receive what you envision. I have read numerous 'esp' books, and have kept none of them except "How to use ESP...' It is simply written and done so with 'heart.'I hope that one of my young sons will read Dorothy Spence Lauer's book, and keep it beside his bed long after I'm gone.

I was handed an original copy of Ms. Lauer's book from my mother-in-law who had noticed a rapid decline in my usually positive outlook on things. Her copy, held together by a strategically placed rubber band, was obviously well read. I was fortunate to find my own copy through Amazon's used book site. The book's title is a little alarming for most mainstream readers. "ESP" in itself conjures up all kinds of preconceived notions and misconceptions. Ms. Lauer guides the reader gently through processes she has developed in over thirty-five years of study. I would look at this book as complimentary to such works by Napoleon Hill, Anthony Robbins and others in the field of understanding the infinite capabilities of your own mind. The book is an easy read (I finished it in one night), but will keep near my nightstand as a constant reference guide in an attempt to keep balance amongst my busy life.

all we need to do is access it from within; I always knew I had some insight but didn't realize how much I can MAKE my future happen how I want it to happen until I read this. It really is something you should keep around and when you're feeling as if something's amiss, go to the pages where you know the helpful information is and read it again. It WILL help you and you'll soon know just where to look quickly to keep you on track.
