4.0 out of 5 stars How to Use MS Office 2000, January 18, 2000

This review is from: How to Use Microsoft Office 2000 (Paperback)
As IT Director of a small company, I was looking for an easy way to train and give a teaching reference to our employees who use MS Office 2000 SB edition. This book is outstanding for those with a basic knowledge of the core Office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and are looking to expand their skills. This book functions in the Novice to Intermediate Skill levels. It is not an Advanced reference or resource kit. It gives you the basics in an easy to use, step-by-step, visual format. It has substantially reduced the calls to my helpdesk.

5.0 out of 5 stars A fine introduction to Office 2000, February 27, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: How to Use Microsoft Office 2000 (Paperback)
Anyone who thinks that you can master Office 2000 with a small volume like this is expecting too much. This book is a non-intimidating, fast way for a novice to learn the basics of using and integrating the Office applications. The best reason to use this book is that it will get you up and running with Office fast.

If you don't have time to get lost in one of those thick, scary "how to" books, start with "How to Use Microsoft Office 2000". If you need more information, then move on to the thick books.

5.0 out of 5 stars STILL A USEFUL RESOURCE, December 3, 2011

I got this book about 5 years ago, and there's no other computer book I use more. I love the step-by-step illustrations which don't confuse me about what the result should be for whatever application I need. I don't have Office 2000 anymore, but Vista, yet this book still has a lot of use as the applications are the same for every issue I've needed it for. I feel that I do not need an updated version at all because it still is extremely useful and helpful for me. Nov., 2011
