The pierced, tattoo-sporting authors brought an element of hip to veganism at a time when it was not nearly as popular or mainstream as it is today. In contrast to its modern authors, the book has a 1950s kitschy feeling that brings a real sense of fun to what could otherwise be a staid topic. Good recipes, thought-worthy intros and some simple how-tos make How It All Vegan! a keeper. This updated edition includes new recipes, color photos, some food updates and an endearing new intro by one of the authors. It is an inspiring vegan cookbook.
