Wake Up the Financial Genius within YOU,
By Lee-Anne Jackson (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: How to Wake Up the Financial Genius Inside You (Paperback)
This was the first real estate book I ever bought. The example of a penny a day doubled every day or a $1,000 a day for 30 days I thought, at the time was far fetched and corny.Using MARKS techniques, I went from 0 credit to over a $100,000 in credit and 0 net worth to $500,000 in under two years time (in 1970's $$$)The techniques still work today. I also recommend The Courage To Be Rich, the one by Mark not Suze Orman. The fact that Suze Orman would copy a title from Mark's Book should tell you the impact that Mr. Haroldsen hadon the fincially savvy.

The beginning of my growth in the Real Estate world,
By Wayne Malcomb (Buffalo, NY USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: How to Wake Up the Financial Genius Inside You (Paperback)
Several years ago I was given this book by a friend. I was searching for a way to make money. This book awoke in me tons of ideas and possibilities. I have bought several properties using the ideas that I gleaned from this book. Many people told me it was just nonsense and that it could not be done. These people included family, friends, my attorney and my boss. That was in 1985. Since that time I have given this book as a gift to many of my friends and customers. Some have used it while others have not. I can tell you I have gone from selling cars to owning two personal homes, several rentals and my own mortgage company, Real Estate Company, a Title company and I'm just putting together a constuction company. The book is dated based on pricing but the concepts are current. In all honesty none of the critics I had in the begining make enough money to pay my taxes. I was looking for a recent copy of this book in order to locate the author. While I was here I thought I would send out a ray of hope to those with a dream. PS: another book I found helpful is "The Magic of Thinking Big" by David J. Schwartz

Tell Yourself that You are a Financial Genius,
By
This review is from: How to Wake Up the Financial Genius Inside You (Paperback)
Whatever you believe that you are, you do what that represents, which manifests its self in the physical reality. This is also true for money management. Each time that I read this book, I have a light bulb moment. And I know that I am in the process of becoming financially savvy. I also realize, as I read this book, along with Glinda Bridgforth's, "Girl, Get Your Money Straight," that I am giving myself the financial intelligence that I lost as a child. This book is simple, enlightening, and helpful in making my money work harder than I work. I find myself saying to myself, as I read this book, "Okay. Yep! I can do that. And now I understand more about how the rich think." Find and read this book to give yourself financial peace of mind.

The start of my enlightenment,
By Scott A. Siler (Portage, Indiana United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: How to Wake Up the Financial Genius Inside You (Paperback)
I bought / read this book in 1976 and still have it .... I've made some very profitable real estate investments since then .... and just part-time. This book is a very inexpensive way to learn and DO the basics of what making money in real estate is all about. VERY down to earth and easy reading .... it changed my life. These principles still work today and probably always will.

Financial Genius awakes!,
This review is from: How to Wake Up the Financial Genius Inside You (Paperback)
I bought this book 25 years ago when I was a senior in high school. Being from a blue collar family, I had never heard of investment ideas like this before. The book completely changed my life. Rather than become a mechanic like I had planned, as soon as I graduated from High school I started buying rental property. At this point I have acumulated an equity of over 2 million dollars, in addition to enjoying a high standard of living.
Of course I ended up learning a lot more along the way than what was in this book, but Financial Genius is an excellent starting point. The basic financial princilples laid out in the book have been a great benefit. Marks ability to explain and to motivate are excellent. I highly reccomend this book!

Everyone Should Read This Book,
By Mike "Mike Stum" (Holtwood, PA, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: How to Wake Up the Financial Genius Inside You (Paperback)
This was the first book I ever read on investing, and it taught me the power of saving and investing. It motivated me to go from renting to purchasing a 2-unit apartment building in 1986, then to purchase a 4-unit apartment building in 1990 and then to purchase another 4-unit apartment building in 1995. The first two apartment buildings will be paid off in 4.5 years from date of writing this review, and the last building will be paid off in 9.5 years. Great book to read and perfect for someone who needs a little financial direction.

WORTHLESS OUTDATED JUNK,
By A Customer
This review is from: How to Wake Up the Financial Genius Inside You (Paperback)
This is the worst piece of garbage I have ever read. It is outdated, useless when it was new, and overall a waste of time and money. I feel sorry for the trees that were used to make the paper for this book. THIS RATES A BIG ZERO.
