I'm not a huge fan of the rest of Gomez' music: although they're musically sound, they're a little too mellow, and just not tortured enough. Which is not to say I know that much about popular music; having violin and voice studied for years, I am now only of the cheap-used-vinyl-buying-wannabe-hipster sort that actually just listens to music while cleaning house or driving for work.

This, though, has that something that is like the bite in the winter air in fall, a glimpse of the one person you'll ever love, and some cemetery-induced sting of deep regret, all wrapped up in one very pretty blues banjo package.

Of all their music, this is the one song that you will play over and over again, late into the night.
