I just found "How We Roll" a few months ago in February 1999. I was already a fan of their latin albums, so I already expected to hear a great sound from them. "How We Roll" has a great R&B and latin mix-it's a wonderful and mesmerizing mix of music. The Barrio Boyzz always give the best sound out to their fans and this album just added to my already faith in their music and whatever they come out with in the future. I hope you guys are coming out with a new album soon! I am ready to hear what you have to bring to your loyal fans! Your R&B/latin sound really hit big with me and you guys have one of the most smoothest sounds around in male groups! I know that whatever is coming in the future will be great because you guys have what it takes!!! I have faith that you guys will have a great album coming out!!! Love you guys always!!!!

A Wealth of Rich Music on "How We Roll",
By Mr. Frank Smith (Los Angeles, California USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: How We Roll (Audio CD)
I'd seen the Barrio Boyzz on my casual channel browsing of Spanish language stations here in Los Angeles -- a few group videos, some with the late Selena, and, doing that great rendition of "Try A Little Tenderness" at the end of the film "I Like It Like That". Interesting group, good vocals.....but still no reason to buy their music. One night I was again browsing and caught their appearance on "New York Undercover" doing and old Average White Band tune, and that was it -- I bought "How We Roll" on the strength of one cut, "A Love Of Your Own", fully expecting nothing from the rest of the album. "How We Roll" is an exceptional album, with the Boyzz totally embracing an R&B production with amazing deliveries of a myriad of tunes and styles. Among my favorites -- the Selena dedicated "I Wish"...."Sail Away", which closes the album, and "I Think of You", featuring amazing lead and background vocal arrangements. I can listen to this album over and over, and I think it will be as satisfying for you as it was for me. But where is the new album, fellas?
