Even at age 5, my daughter is sometimes hesitant to sleep alone in her big bed. Reading this book together has helped her feel more secure in that it encourages her to take her stuffed animal friends to bed (instead of me!)

We both love the delightful story and adorable pictures!

I think this is THE BOOK
to get when your child is learning
how to sleep on their own in their bed.

Unfortuately, my bookstore was out of it. . .I can see why! but luckily I can have it delivered from my friendly Amazon bookstore!

A keeper!

I just had the privilege to read this book 2 days ago. I have the great privilege of knowing the author, Della, and her family personally as I have been their dental hygienist for years. Believe me, that in itself is an honor and a privilege! But to see this book and to read it is an honor and a thrill! This will be a WONDERFUL Christmas gift for any baby/toddler on your gift list. The story is beautiful...filled with the love and compassion that Della gives to her own children. It is a well written and soft-hearted story...the kind of storybook that your children will just love to snuggle up with. It is the kind of book that adults will like to read to their children...it will be reminiscent of your own childhood! The story line makes you feel comfortable and loved. It will be a Godsend for children who are making that transition from the crib to the bed...let's face it, that's probably the first of many of our major transitions in life! If there could only be such a nice book for all of the many changes we go through in life! To make a long story short, it's a beautiful book...your little one will adore it!

If you have a child who is about to make the transition to a "big kid" bed, or who has recently made the transition, this is the book for you! It's delightful, sweet and funny -- and the rhymes are simply contagious! Your son or daughter will want you to read it over and over and over!

This book is about a child making the transition to his big-boy bed. So, I thought my 1-year-old daughter might be a little young for it. I was wrong. I started reading it to her when she was one and she still loves it at almost 18 months. It is one of her favorite books. She always selects it when we are reading and listens to the entire story. I'm not sure what attracts her, but it is a nice simple rhyming story and the pictures are really vibrant. She also loves her stuffed animals so maybe that is it. I highly recommend it!

We love this book! It wasnt a hit the first time I read it to him but after a couple times it's now the last book we read before bed and he gets all excited for it! (He's 23 months and sleeping in his own big boy bed in a new room). this book is adorable. There is only 1 line of the book that I dont read and it goes "I feel all alone". I just leave that out when I read the first page and that makes this story not scary. It's a delightful story about a boy and his stuff animals and how he needs them to make room for him in the bed. I would definitely recommend buying this book. I have to read it everynight and i love reading this book, so we all win!

As a Parent, we know the transition to a big bed can be scary for a little one. Although I enjoy the book and in the end everything works out, it is a bit 'scary' (for lack of a better word) in 'tone' for my little one. Granted, my Son may be a bit sensitive, but I'll try to find something more upbeat and exciting to make the progression.

it is a simple easy book showing that its easy & not scary to sleep in a big bed. it helped my dtr & it wasnt a long book to read so we are able to re-read a few times a night if she wants

We purchased this book in the hopes of helping our 3 year old son understand the importance of sleeping and staying in his own bed. It's such a cute book and he really enjoys reading it before bed. And I'm happy to say that this book has been a happy addition to our nightly routine and he is in fact sleeping in his bed all night now. YAY! This is a win/win for everybody.
