Very fast read, or should I say listen, yet extremely beneficial and insightful. I took two pages of notes and can't wait to dive back into a fifth draft of my current memoir. It also helped plant seeds for future memoirs. It cites powerful memoir excerpts from writers Frank McCourt, Anne Lamott, Annie Dillard, and Eudora Welty. You will definitely receive some direction and inspiration. CHecking out his other book ON WRITING is also a must!
