This book spoke to my sprit. It made understanding how the Holy Sprit speaks to me beleavable. There was no doubt in my mind how to speak and how I was spoken to by the Holy Sprit. Mr Hagin made the text clear and easy to understand. Anyone wanting to know how the Holy Sprit speaks to us will come away feeling he knows exactlly what Mr Hagin is talking about. It was the most up lifting work I have ever read.

Being in the ministry for over 30 years, I certainly have heard many a person cry out to God for leading in their lives. Rev Hagin has listened to this cry and written a work that will touch your spirit with the understanding of beng led by the Spirit of God.
Written in a simple way, the reader is able to understand the flow that can be accomplished between themselves and their Creator as Rev Hagin gently shares ways to open up to God's Spirit. If you have been seeking a closer walk with the Spirit of God and you are not sure how to go about achieving this, you will find this book helpful. I truly recommend it for all those that seek His Spirit and His leading.

I have purchased several copies of this book and passed it out to friends. In three of the books I wrote I recommended it. I cannot overstate the importance of having this book for your collection!

This is one of the few books where I would read something, and say "uh?". I found that I had to read several passages over and over again to get the meaning, which is important with any book. I have no problem with this book at all, in fact, it was almost too simple to read. Even in that, I still had a hard time understand some of the things he taught until I read it over and over again. He really cover some very important detail in this book, that though it really prepares the newbie in Christ for hearing from his spirit, the Holy Ghost, and God, its still very challenging to read. I had been saved for many many years and had been under a lot of Hagin's teaching, and I still found new material in this book that was hard to comprehend at first, but was a blessing after my understanding began to multiply on the subject. Like with any other book of his, do not plan to read through this book just once. I very highly recommend this book.

Any time I ever recommend a book it is always this one. Its the most simplest and very important resource for a christian.

I do like lots of books but this is one I would bet my life on to read. It shows you how to truly learn to listen to God.

Many non-charismatics have taken much anger over the years for speaking out against the ministries of the likes of Kenneth Hagin, Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn, Charles Capps, or T.D Jakes but despite their criticisms, many in the Church continue to buy books such as this title, HOW TO BE LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD. A better title would be How NOT To Be Led By The Spirit of God. The book (along with the above mentioned ministries) simply lacks biblical truth. It flows from the mystical away from the truly mindful.

The book is supposed to be a book for Christians to read on how God's Spirit is to lead them based on Romans 8:14. Hagin does little to build a biblical case. Insted the book turns to the many adventures of Hagin with the Holy Spirit. Many of the stories are simply outragious to bizarre. I was shocked as I read the book that Hagin actually believed the Spirit of God was leading him the way he was led. For example, Hagin claims that the Spirit of God once took him out of his body while he was preaching at a church and took him to the backseat of a car where he watched a woman and man commit fornication. He says that the next evening this truth was verified when he spoke to the young lady about the night before.

The question is why doesn't Hagin point believers to the Scriptures rather than experience for being led by the Spirit? Why doesn't he exegete the Scriptures to show Christians the proper way to hear God in the text? Why doesn't he point the Christian to stand firm upon the inerrant Word of God found in the completed canon rather than depending on stories from his own personal experiences? Could it be that this simply would not sell nor would today's lazy church be willing to actually read their Bibles rather than have personal subjective experiences.

My earnest prayer to God is that we would abandon false teachings such as those found in this book. This is not how to be led by the Spirit. I urge you to go to the Bible and stand firm upon the sound teachings found therein (1 Timothy 4:16; Titus 2:1). We need sound teachers who will lead us into the truth of Scripture and not their own experiences (Ephesians 4:11-16). Sola Scriptura!
