The first time I heard Nickelback's unforgettable power-pop anthem "How You Remind Me" I knew it would be a number one hit. The terrific melody, chord pattern, smashing drums, nice addition of an electric organ (Farfisa?), sexy hoarse sounding lead vocals that make you FEEL the songs words, it all fits and flows. "How You Remind Me" is just a perfectly great track in the rock realm. I never get tired of hearing it, and can't imagine anyone who appreciates melodic rock and pop not loving it too. Play it over and over LOUD! A definite must have song for any fan of great melody laden rock music. Add it to YOUR collection too. A timeless song you won't get sick of.

I am in love with Nickelback's song "How You Remind Me". I love lots of different types of music, and it is a rare occasion that I can connect with a song.
Well, this is one of those rare songs.
"How You Remind Me" is all over the radio, and it's easy to see why. The song has not only excellent guitar and drums with one heckuva lead singer, but it's vocals make you want to cry out. You can feel the anguish that the lyricist is going through, and it is easily one of the best songs of 2001.
The extra songs on the disc add flavor to it, too.
To hear some of the song, check out the Real Player on the page for "Silver Side Up".
And, Nickelback, if you are reading this review, keep on cranking out songs like this that add meaning and feeling to a world lacking of music of this quality.
God Bless!

This is the coolest song I've heard in a long time if not of all time. NICKELBACK Rules! Check out their new tune Too Bad it's just as good. HYRM varies between hard and soft rock, going quieter for a while before kicking up a wicked sonic storm!!
Imagine this Canadian band is still relatively new to the rock biz and they're already this great! It scares me to think of how big they could become!

I finally found it!! I heard this song constantly on the radio every day. I said who the hell sings it? AS USUAL, Amazon.com helped me. I didn't even know the name of the song but assumed it was You Remind Me or something along those lines. I went on the this website and low and behold it popped up. Being an African-American woman, I love a lot of soulful music and rhythm. I fell in love with this song. You probably wonder...okay she's heard it on the radio, why doesn't she just listen to the d.j. say who it is? Well my unique circumstance is that we are an American family living overseas in Germany and they play American music all day long and many times they don't say the person's name...if they do say it, they may not say it in English!!!! This song is wonderful and I will order it immediately as I buy everything from Amazon. Wonderful song, deeply felt, beautiful voice, and wonderful instrumentals....you just need this song, you just do! thanks Amazon...

I am a very big fan of Nickelback, when I got this single I loved the different mix of How You Remind Me, the new song Yanking Out My... and Leader of Men, from their 1st US Album. I highly recomend this CD!!

Nickelback is second only to Insane Clown Posse as the most hated band on the Internet. I'm not even a huge fan of them, but I think this tune and most of their other hits are proof enough that they deserve none of the incredible amount of abuse they endure from Those Who Know Best.

"How You Remind Me" is a dynamic, somewhat heavy pop rock song that's lyrically vague enough for anyone with a broken heart to relate to. It wastes no time doing what it's meant to do and I smile whenever it comes on whatever bland pop station that's being piped into the dentist's office, doctor's waiting room, and many supermarkets and fast food restaurants in my life.

When I first heard this song along with 'Leader Of Men' on the radio it made me want get as many CD's of them as I could. Chad Kroeger really put feeling into this song, and his vocals seem to meld with the guitar to create a wonderful, melodramatic song. One of the best on the radio right now. A definite buy. You won't be dissapointed.
