Great book for artists or horse owners..

This is not the most detailed anatomy book ever, but it makes a great amount of information very understandable.

This is not the most detailed anatomy book ever, but it makes a great amount of information very understandable. The paintings of the bones and musculature are quite engaging. Studying this book will let almost anyone have a working understanding of the horse's body; and therefore, why some things work and some things don't. It also has a helpful section on conditioning and stretching.

I gave this book to my riding buddy, who is also in the medical profession (for humans) - I knew she would love the detail and definition presented in this book, and she did, does!
