Lots of practical information and fun to read
I really enjoyed this book. It is very thorough and informative. The author even gives lists of most cat and dog breeds and what type of part the are usually cast in. Great training guide, shows exactly what you need to teach your pet for roles in commercials, print ads, tv, etc... Lists many organizations to get your dog `gigs'. There are even some funny stories about...

Zzzzzzzzzz.....
Can't this author stay on the subject material? Reading this book is like having your forgetful Grandpa read you a story. A book that doesn't cover the subject matter is just not worth the time to read.

I really enjoyed this book. It is very thorough and informative. The author even gives lists of most cat and dog breeds and what type of part the are usually cast in. Great training guide, shows exactly what you need to teach your pet for roles in commercials, print ads, tv, etc... Lists many organizations to get your dog `gigs'. There are even some funny stories about the author or famous animal thrown in, along with some humor!

This was a great book. Haggerty helped me realize that even not living in a large city I can still put my dog into show biz. I haven't come across anything that wasn't answered in this book.
