It doesn't have the traditional...end(?) like the Microsoft Headsets. So how does it plug into the controller?

yea i know man what the hell.. it doesn't plug into mine either.. Because the microsoft one had the 3 prongs and this one only has one.. Plus the "Black and Green" colors symbolize the old Xbox. Green and white symbolize the Xbox 360.. Someone please reply and tell us both how to plug it in? Thanks a lot.

The 2.5mm jack plugs in with no problem. In fact most any Cell phone or cordless phone jack will plug in. The MS headsets have that huge connector on the end because the volume and mute are right on the jack. This headset has the volume and mute inline. So the huge connector is not necessary.

The Tradition end that the MS headsets have are the center hole is the actual jack, the two side ones are just holes to accept the tabs from the volume and mute controls to stabilize that huge end.

It's like the normal headphone jack. You plug it in to only the center hole.
