I recently reviewed BASEBALL SAVED US by Ken Mochizuki and Dom Lee. The book tells a fascinating story about how baseball helped Japanese Americans survive concentration camps. I have spent a lot of time reflecting over the past three years how baseball ultimately saved me too. I decided to put my thoughts and stories down on paper, and hopefully soon my baseball memoir will be available in spring. Many other people have shared with me what a positive impact baseball has had on their lives, and I would love to start a post where we can share our baseball experiences that helped us through difficult times. For another interesting work on this subject check out the documentary film about 9 11 entitled "Nine Innings from Ground Zero." Okay, so tell me...HOW HAS BASEBALL SAVED YOU?
