Smooth ballads from a great R&B crooner.,

This review is from: Howard Hewett (Audio CD)
This was Howard's third solo album and it features some very tender and moving ballads from one of the best but most underrated male R&B vocalists of our time.

Howard has a great voice... He stays within the same vocal range and his voice does have much personality... What makes this album magnificent are his lyrics... These songs will remain with you long after you have taken the CD out of the player... He says some very memorable things on this album, I guarantee that... I recommend it to those who like (his voice has a striking) ... Howard's voice always tasteful and classy in doing so... This one gets a round of applause!...

This 1990 album from the famed urban crooner is one of his most beautiful, featuring the hits "Show Me" and "If I Could Only Have That Day Back" plus the impossibly beautiful duet with Anita Baker "When Will It Be."

This album is pretty much what you'd expect from an artist like Howard Hewett. Fantastic! 'I Do' and 'The More I Get(the more I want)' are weak songs, but the rest of the material on this album more than makes up for these minor flaws.

If Show Me isn't one of his better songs, I don't know what is. This man can really carry a tune. Holla!
