the numbers on this clock are large enough to be read from any distance even in a "greatroom." the wood is a richer, warmer tone than you can appreciate from the image provided. the clock is lightweight enough to hang anywhere. for a classic, rich, beautiful timepiece, at this price, it cannot be beat.

This clock looks very nice. I like that it has a nice cherry wood frame. I can see it from all areas of my kitchen. I don't notice the ticking noise some others have mentioned, but if I was in a quiet room with this clock I would notice it. Keeps good time and I like that it has a second hand. Would recommend it.

I bought this clock because it is so hard to find something in the stores that doesn't look like a toy. This clock is pretty well made and looks nice. Just received it today so I'm also hoping that it keeps time well! One comment though....the product description says Made in the USA, which is part of the reason that I purchased this particular clock. It isn't!!! It says right on the box that it is Made in China! What a surprise!!! It's really too bad that we cannot find things that are made in the USA. In general though, this clock makes a nice appearance and is great for anywhere in the house.
